Just hear Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas” playing in the background or any of the familiar sights, smells and sounds of the holiday season: evergreen and pine, bells, lights, busy shoppers, the color red, kisses, desserts, snow and shovels.
The holidays are strongly tied to traditions, which in turn are tied to strong and nostalgic emotions. Not only do we enjoy reminiscing about holiday traditions of the past and tapping into those emotions, but we also want to share in the moment of today. One of our Core Values at Azura Memory Care is “help people to recover physically, mentally and spiritually”. Celebrating the holidays together does just that.
