When the weather in Wisconsin cooperates we like to spend as much time outside as possible. At Azura Memory Care of Beloit, the team came up with an INNOVATIVE way to engage our residents outdoors: sidewalk spray chalk. Instead of the traditional sidewalk chalk which may have been difficult for all of our residents to use, the team in Beloit found a recipe for spray chalk, which allowed the residents to paint with a spray bottle, a much easier medium for them to work with.
The residents enjoyed the fresh air and creating masterpieces all over the sidewalk and even in the parking lot. As Tom Freston said, “INNOVATION is taking two things that already exist and putting them together in a new way.” Great job Beloit on coming up with a great new activity for the residents to enjoy.
