A resident of Azura Memory Care of Sheboygan, really wanted a pineapple, so on a recent shopping trip the Quality of Life Coordinator picked one up for the house. She also brought in a pineapple corer so that the residents could help cut it. They then improvised with the pineapple top and even used the shell of the husk of the pineapple as a cup and pretended they were on a beach drinking tropical drinks. Our Quality of Life Coordinator showed tremendous INNOVATION and creativity in helping the residents find joy in something as simple as a pineapple.
