Ruth Barrer learned how to sew at a very young age. Growing up on a cotton farm in Mississippi she and her sister spent many hours sewing their own clothes and sharing laughs along the way. While Ruth’s smile and laughter still remain, her ability to sew seemed to have slipped her memory due to her dementia diagnosis.
